1. Are your employees bonded and insured?
Yes, you may request proof prior to the cleaning session.

2. Does your staff where uniforms?
Yes, at 2 Girls and a Mop professionalism is important.

3. Do you have logos on your cars?
Yes, all of our vehicles have the 2 Girls and a Mop logo and text. And, we also place a small lawn sign on your front lawn during the cleaning session, if permitted.

4. Is your work guaranteed?
Yes! If you are not fully satisfied with your individual cleaning results, we we’ll do it again; free of charge.

5. We have Pets is that ok?
Yes! At 2 Girls at a Mop we love pets!

6. What kind of cleaning products do you use?
We use green, natural, environmentally friendly cleaning products.

7. How do l pay for the service and what type of payments do you take?
Prior to the schedule cleaning service or option package, payments must be paid in full. We take Visa, MasterCard, Cheque, Cash, and PayPal.

8. What are your rates?
We help select the best option package for your needs or customize a plan with your individual cleaning goals. Each evaluation is based on several factors including square footage of home, clutter, condition of home, number of people, pets, budget, and style of living.

9. Do l have to be home when you clean?
At 2 Girls at a Mop the choice is yours, however most clients prefer to leave a key in our possession, or leave a key prior to the cleaning session. Key’s are placed in safe box to ensure safe keeping.

10. How many cleaners can l expect?
Depending on the package option you chose, you can expect up to 4 cleaners at one time.

11. How do you gain access to my home if l’m not home?

  1. Most clients are not home when we come to clean; therefore we have several options for your convenience. You may leave a key and is stored in a key safe and coded for security. The keys are returned everyday to the corporate office in Burlington.

  2. If it is not possible to leave a key with 2 Girls and a Mop you may provide a garage entry code with our corporate office in Burlington.

Please note – lf we are unable to gain access to your home, we must charge a service fee of $45.00.

12. What does your guarantee provide?
If you are unhappy with the service you received, please contact us immediately to discuss your options. At 2 Girls and a Mop our goal is simple, do it right or make it right, no questions. We will return within 24 hours and correct what was missed or incomplete free of charge.

13. Do I have to sign a contract?
No, there are no complicated contracts. It’s that simple!

14. Will I always have the same service provider?
2 Girls and a Mop assign the same cleaning teams at each clean, however, there may be a change of a team member due to illness, vacation, or a day off. All of our cleaning associates are experienced professionals trained to our standards.

15. How are the cleaning associates trained?
All of our maids are experienced professionals trained to our standards. You can rely on us to clean beyond the surface, trust us with your belongings, and stand behind our work!

16. Do you provide the cleaning supplies or do I?
2 Girls and a Mop bring our own brand of Green Clean products and supplies. Our staff use these same products in their homes so you can trust them to be safe. Safely and effectively removing soils, germs and other contaminants, with none toxic natural cleaning products, help us to stay healthy, care for our homes and possessions, and make our surroundings more pleasant. Just sit back and relax!

17. Do l need to tip the cleaners?
At 2 Girls and a Mop you are not required to leave a tip, however, to show your appreciate of the service, you may leave a gesture of gratitude.

18. What if I need to reschedule an appointment?
Please call our office at least 48 hours in advance. We will be happy to reschedule your cleaning appointment. How do I provide feedback on my cleanings? a comment feedback card is left after each cleaning. You may fill out the card with your comments, and/or suggestion for us to view. You may leave it for us at your next scheduled appointment or send it to us by email. Otherwise you may email us with your comments and suggestions!

Our Rates

Our rates are based on 1 cleaner per hour. However, we may send up to 4 cleaners at one time.

For example:
- A team of 2 people cleaning your home for 1 hour is equal to 2 person-hours.
- A team of 4 people cleaning your home is equal to 4 person-hours.

The cleaning time begins when the actual cleaning begins! lt ends after they have completed the appropriate amount of hours. Yes, we treat our client’s right!


We have several payment options. You may pay with credit card, cheque or cash.

*Cheques are honored after a client has been established – 4 cleaning sessions.

You will be charged after the completion of the clean. An invoice and cleaning checklist will be provided after the clean has been completed.
